Northeast Performing Arts Group (Woodson High School Auditorium, 5500 Eads Street NE)

See how today’s youth overcome the destructive forces of color bias and create hope for humanity in ColorStruck: With the Skin I’m In!, an electrifying dance musical on Friday at 11:30 and 7:00 PM. Come to be entertained and uplifted by performers ranging from ages 3 to 25.

Bowen McCauley Dance (The Kennedy Center: Terrace Theater, 2700 F Street NW)

BMD presents “Le Sacre du Printemps + More” on Friday at 7:30 PM, followed by a Gala Celebration with the artists and fans; nab your gala tickets right here!

CityDance Ensemble (The Verizon Center, 7th & F Street NW Washington, DC)

Seeing the Wizard’s game on Saturday? Over 130 students from CityDance’s DREAM program will take center stage on center court during the half-time show. Through dance, the DREAM program teaches self-empowerment and civic engagement to elementary and middle school students.

The Ellington Fund (The Kennedy Center, 2700 F Street NW)

Enjoy an intimate evening with the legendary Smokey Robinson on Saturday at 7:30 PM. This benefit concert provides an opportunity for the entire community to support the students of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Ticket info right here!

Potomac Conservancy (River Center at Lock 8, 7906 Riverside Drive, Cabin John, MD)

Head to the River Center for a spring cleanup: paint signs and picnic tables as well as clean up the lockhouse area and surrounding towpath. All ages welcome and no registration required. More info this way!

American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras (Kenmore Performing Arts Center, 200 S. Carlin Springs Road, Arlington, VA)
