Horton’s Kids distributed gifts to families to make the holidays brighter for 150+ children through their Elf program!

Our Daily Bread
Our Daily Bread in Fairfax celebrated Reina, a local mom in their Project BRIDGE program who used her Workforce Development Stipend to take a 4-month intensive class through Computer C.O.R.E. to improve her computer skills and her job prospects. Her instructor told ODB that Reina was best in the class and that she was quick to pick up new lessons. On Monday, she received her certificate in Microsoft Windows and Office Applications. Reina really enjoyed the class, made friends she’ll keep in touch with and wants to volunteer as a class helper.

Reach Incorporated gave brand new books to students and volunteers!

Senior Services of Alexandria
Senior Services of Alexandria’s Meals on Wheels recipients got a special holiday treat with their meals today holiday floral arrangements from a local garden club and ornaments made by an Alexandria Brownie Troop great day for seniors!
