In Tanzania, Bon Ifas and John, members of the Magoma Project “goat team”, play with their new goat friend. This dairy goat is just one piece of the Magoma Project’s integrated system, which will fund a school meals program for primary students in Magoma. They also have a garden, chickens, and a fish pond!

Senior Services of Alexandria
This week two students, Kate Kaiman and Claire Embrey, from TC Williams High School in Alexandria, VA began a three week “senior experience” at Senior Services of Alexandria. The seniors will be helping out with Meals on Wheels deliveries, stocking Senior Information Corners and working on the grocery delivery program. Welcome Kate and Claire!

Washington Parks & People
This week, Washington Parks & People was busy tending the crops in eastern DC, and landscaping and cleaning the Marvin Gaye Greening Center with folks from the Boston Consulting Group. They were also thrilled to be present and support DC Water as they launch their Clean Rivers Project!
