New Volunteer Training: Representing At-Risk Children as a Guardian Ad Litem
As a court-appointed guardian ad litem, you will advocate for the best interests of children at serious risk of harm in a disputed custody case. This training will prepare you to serve as a voice in court for children facing dangers such as violence in the home. The DC Volunteer Lawyers Project provides training, in-court supervision, malpractice insurance, and more to make sure our volunteers are well-prepared to be a voice for children in court.
