From its humble storefront in a strip mall, to its current two-warehouse operation, LHR has worked for nearly three decades to ensure that no one in Loudoun County goes hungry. Individuals and families struggling to make ends meet can collect a minimum three-day supply of food, twice per month. Delivery is available for homebound seniors and people with disabilities who, every two weeks, receive a six-day supply of pantry items, fresh produce, bread, and frozen food. And during holidays and school breaks, for the homeless and for families in crisis, LHR is there to fill the gaps with extra food and support. An invaluable network of grocery partners, local farms, faith organizations, and private citizens make it all possible, joining together to distribute 1.2 million pounds of nourishment to 8,000 people annually.Won’t you come to the table?
