Securing a job, acquiring healthcare, finding affordable housing – all are key steps toward a stable future. But for people struggling to make ends meet in an unfamiliar country and culture, those steps can seem impossible. So Korean Community Service Center brings everything under one roof, offering comprehensive support to 14,500 Asian community members each year. From social services (case management, job support, financial literacy training), to family enrichment (parenting workshops, marriage counseling, teen empowerment programs), to immigration counseling (family-based immigration, citizenship interview preparation), services are powered by 23 highly trained social workers, more than 100 volunteers, and numerous partnerships with ethnic churches, businesses, and other nonprofits. Thanks to KCSC, survivors of domestic violence seek assistance in their native language; seniors connect to culturally appropriate activities and continuing education; and struggling families navigate a healthcare system that would otherwise be wholly inaccessible. Empowering Asian Americans and new immigrants to become self-sufficient, contributing members of society, KCSC does it all – with your help.
