Teens Give Back

Reach Incorporated

Each summer, Reach gives thousands of dollars to a group of teens. They have one responsibility: Give it away. In the process, they learn about community challenges and develop skills in research, writing, and public speaking. Join us at Teens Give Back II as our teens make final presentations pitching their favorite organizations. While all six finalist organizations will receive some funds, your votes will determine which organizations receive the largest grants. Grants will range from $250 - $1,500. Finalists: Courtney's House DC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy Mentoring Today Metro Teen AIDS SOME (So Others Might Eat) The Wounded Warriors Project As an added bonus, guests will also witness a Tutor Promotion Ceremony at which a small number of young people will earn Reach's Junior Staff Hoodie, the organization's highest honor. To date, only three teens in the city have earned this honor. On August 5th, a select few will join their ranks.
