Workshop: Energy & Faith

EcoAction Arlington

Presented by Arlingtonians for a Clean Environment, the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP), and Interfaith Power and Light, this workshop will cover the importance of energy efficiency and tips for saving energy in the home with reflection on the responsibility as people of faith to consider the impact of our electricity use. Participants will learn how to evaluate different segments of the home including heating/cooling, insulation, lighting, appliances, windows and more. We'll also review the Energy Star Yard Stick tool for evaluating home energy use. A potluck dinner and social hour will be held prior to the event. If interested, please bring a dish and arrive at 6:00 p.m.
