MOVEIUS Contemporary Ballet

Atlas Performing Arts Center

Called “challenging, attractive, and adventuresome” by The Washington Post, MOVEIUS is known for its cross-disciplinary and adventurous collaborations. GLACIER intersects ballet and science in a striking new production, conceived for INTERSECTIONS, that challenges how science is traditionally communicated, while simultaneously redefining ballet. With physical movement inspired by how ice melts, dancers and malleable set pieces, complemented by mixed media and photographs, will probe one of the most important concerns of our times — climate change.
