Mercy Health provides a safety net for Montgomery County residents who are low-income or uninsured, removing their barriers to care by providing interpreters and never charging a copay. Patients access a wide range of services, including primary care, exams, lab tests, X-rays, medications, chronic disease management, mental health care, and specialty care across more than a dozen medical specialties. Health and nutrition education programs focus on preventive care, and a partnership with Adventist Healthcare works to prevent unnecessary hospitalizations and ER visits. Serving over 2,500 patients annually, it is also the medical home for 200 adolescents and is supported by numerous hospital and lab partners, as well as volunteer physicians, nurses, and interpreters.
