General Information

  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: Our regularly scheduled volunteers ensure that the Houses run smoothly by greeting families, answering phones, and helping to keep the Houses clean, organized, and welcoming.

Group opportunities include cooking a meal for the families, baking, filling snack bags, doing light housekeeping or yard work, decorating for holidays, or coordinating a wish list drive or a third-party fundraiser.

We also recruit regular volunteers for our Ronald McDonald Family Room programs at Children's National Medical Center and at Inova Children's Hospital.
