General Information

  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: TASSC typically accepts volunteers interested in participating in our Workforce Development and Job Placement Program (WDJPP). Employment is often identified by survivors as one of their greatest needs. TASSC’s WDJPP helps survivors re-enter the job market, attain education and technical skills, and pursue long-term career goals. The WDJPP provides critical support to survivors as they navigate the often confusing employment environment in Washington, DC, which involves building and adapting resumes, becoming accustomed to US hiring protocols, finding a job, and planning long term career goals.
  • Types of Volunteers Needed: individual/adult; adult groups of less than 5
  • Hours Needed: business hours during the week
