Mission of Love helps people in urgent need — those living at or below 150% of the federal poverty level, experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless. For many, there is simply no other means of access to food, clothing, laundry, rental and utility assistance, furniture, or referrals for primary, dental, and mental health care. A new on-site clinic provides direct access to both physicaland mental health support, along with help navigating SNAP, Medicaid, andstable housing. For those who lost jobs recently, classes in digital literacy, coding, and certification as a nursing assistant or OSHA construction inspector empower individuals with skills for long-term employment. Students who complete the courses have little trouble finding work. Through strong community partnerships and tireless advocacy, Mission of Love bridges the gap between crisis relief and sustainable, independent living.
