Introducing the Artivate Arts in Education Fund

What is it?

Artivate is establishing an Arts in Education (AiE) fund to help reduce the cost of programming in communities by Artivate’s 25+ professional teaching artists. Support will be offered to presenters in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and northern Virginia.

When will subsidies be available and who will benefit?

Starting in Winter/Spring 2023, we hope to begin offering subsidies to cover 25% of artist fees for programming to public, private, and independent schools, preschool through grade 12, in the region, eventually expanding to include a broader array of community sites, including libraries, after the first year.

As we grow the fund and establish a consistent level of support, our goal is to offer up to 33% subsidization of program fees, with a cap of up to three engagements per year.

How can you help?

Donate now! to support this effort. With support from our communities, we can support our that our communities have additional resources to we can leverage that support with grantors and corporate partners to build a fund that can benefit all of our presenters.

Make a longer-term impact and make your donation recurring...monthly, quarterly or annually, more support means more programming reaches your communities.
