Creative Age at GW
Educational Theatre Company (ETC), with generous support from the Washington DC Area Geriatric Education Center Consortium, GW's Department of Theatre and Dance, and AHC Inc, proudly celebrates the culmination of the first collaboration between ETC’s Creative Age program and George Washington University. Starting in early January with support from Washington DC Area Geriatric Education Center Consortium, GW's Department of Theatre and Dance, and AHC Inc, ETC launched a new intergenerational model where seniors and college students came together and participated in theatre exercises to create a strong ensemble. GW Students wrote a series of short plays based on prompts assigned by ETC’s Managing Director, and GW Theatre Professor, Elizabeth Kitsos-Kang. Participants will present this work in a staged reading on Sunday, February 17th at 7pm (George Washington University).
