Sitar Arts Center's Bet on the Arts Gala

Sitar Arts Center

Sitar Arts Center's Annual Benefit Gala raises essential funds for equitable arts education and year-round out-of-school-time activities for DC's children, teens, and young adults. 80% of Sitar's students are from households with low income and 85% are Black or Latinx. The Bet on the Arts Gala will include outdoor seating at The LINE and nearby residences. Or virtually experience the magic of the Gala broadcast live from The LINE! Inspiring student performances and presentations will be pre-recorded, creatively connecting all of these spaces into one event. Sitar will ask in-person guests to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination before attending. We will abide by health guidelines provided by the CDC and any District of Columbia emergency order. Inclement weather plans may include indoor dining. At Sitar, our talented students take classes in art, music, dance, drama, creative writing, digital arts, and design, taught by a teaching corps of volunteers and partners from our city's finest institutions. Sitar offers transformational possibilities, creative exploration, and community, so that all young people can discover their full potential. By supporting Sitar Arts Center's 2021 Benefit Gala, you are investing in their future.
