Middle school students, firefighters, and Congressmen came together this week to support Catalogue nonprofits, who prove to us every week that their contribution to our community cannot be beat!

Our Daily Bread
The future of giving is HERE! Our Daily Bread was inspired by these 6th-graders from Westminster School who came to visit with Our Daily Bread‘s Jennifer Rose on Sunday. They are looking to do something to help alleviate hunger in the DC area, especially childhood hunger. They have been meeting for a few weeks and even have a mission statement! Right now, they are trying to learn as much as they can about the problem the scope of the problem, causes, solutions, and what they can do to help. Now they’re working on their action plan to help ODB families.

Senior Services of Alexandria
Senior Services of Alexandria thanks Congressman Don Beyer, the students of Burgundy Farm Country Day School, the Alexandria Black Firefighters Association, and the Alexandria Sheriff’s Office for delivering Meals on Wheels this week to Alexandria’s seniors. These deliveries were in support of the month-long, national Meals on Wheels campaign March for Meals to raise money and awareness for the Meals on Wheels program. #MarchforMeals

Main Street Child Development Center
Main Street Child Development Center offers high-quality, affordable childcare for children from low-income families. Here is David showing off the 16-wheel truck he made from an old egg carton & curlers! Awesome!
